From Aug 25 to 30, the 2024 International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) Biennial Session was held in Paris, France. CSG was invited for the first time to participate in the opening panel themed "A Roadmap to Energy System of the Future: Decarbonization with Flexibility and Resilience," showcasing technological innovations and deepening cooperation with CIGRE and the global energy and power industry.
With expertise in HVDC transmission, digital grids, and new energy storage, CSG garnered attention from the event organizers. During the session, representatives from the company engaged with energy experts and decision-makers worldwide to discuss how to build a more efficient, reliable, and sustainable future energy system.
International organizations such as CIGRE, GO15, 50Hertz, EDF, and ABB, as well as executives, experts, and scholars from equipment manufacturing companies and universities, congregated at CSG's exhibition stand to discuss topics such as the utilization of clean energy in CSG's supply area, technological routes and trends in power transmission and distribution networks, offshore wind power collection and transmission, smart sensor system development, and wave energy generation devices. CSG received high praise from them for its achievements in clean energy transmission technology and digital grid construction.
The CIGRE Paris Session serves not only as a platform for CSG to showcase its strengths and expand its international business but also as a crucial opportunity to deepen its understanding of international market dynamics and grasp industry development trends. Through exchanges and collaborations with international peers, CSG will continue to enhance its influence in the global energy and power industry, contributing Chinese wisdom and solutions to the future of global energy.
